Laura Browning, Ph.D.
President and Founder
Laura received her doctorate in social and health psychology in 2001. She teaches a wide variety
of courses at several Chicago area universities including DePaul University, Lewis University,
Saint Xavier University and North Central College. She is an expert in burnout and stress management
and has been working on training development with eight years of teaching and mentoring experience.
She can provide assessment and consultation in medical, academic and corporate settings utilizing
teaching, mentoring and facilitation skills to improve employee satisfaction and retention,
and team and individual productivity and to reduce employee stress, burnout, turnover and error
rate. She has a well-rounded background that includes strong foundation of course development
and facilitation.
Pamela Bills, chaplain
Vice President and Founder
Pamela received her bachelors from Wheaton College in 1994. She received four units of Clinical
Pastoral Education from an internship and residency program at Advocate and Good Samaritian hospital
in 2002. She worked as a Chaplain in a level I trauma center and spent one on one time at the bedside
with many patients and families. Her work as a pastor and counselor also extended to the staff
as she participated in daily care rounds and worked in an interdisciplinary fashion. She led support
groups for families and conducted many funeral services. She completed a great deal of debriefing
with staff both formally and informally.
Laura and Pam are both mothers of three small children. They have had to deal with stressors coming at them from many different directions in life. However based on Laura’s graduate training, dissertation work and experience in dealing with burned out nurses, and Pam’s hands on experience in hospital settings, both have learned valuable and practical advice for reducing stress and burnout in daily life.
